ATTENTION BIKE LOVERS!
A petition was brought to my attention in a forum on midnightridazz.com encouraging google to incorporate a "bike there" option in google maps. Great idea, no? So if you haven't done so already, you might want to check it out.
Sounds good to me.

Editor's note: No, the photo has nothing to do with Google Maps, but it is a unique bike map! It's Portland's bike map on a bandana and it is real.

Fri, 03/14/2008 - 07:44I just learnt that Michelin maps provides a "by bike" option in their map software. It looks like it does a little more than just keep you off the expressway. It also routes you through residential areas if it's shorter. It doesn't look like it has bike lanes or paths included in the Toronto area.
Thanks to Alan Medcalf on the Cycle Ontario list for the heads-up.
