Waterfront Toronto and the City of Toronto are seeking public input into a project considering the removal, replacement, improvement or maintenance of the Gardiner Expressway from Jarvis Street to just east of the Don Valley Parkway.

Velo-City is widely respected as the premier international cycling planning conference series in the world.The Conference seeks to encourage cycling as a part of daily transport and recreation. Pretty close to what I like to see in a bike-friendly city.

This a reminder that this Sunday, Nov. 23 from 10am to 2pm in Riverdale you'll get a chance to see the best cyclocross racers in the province race and wipeout in Riverdale Park East. If all goes well we should be able to see people in skimpy clothing and bikes evidently unsuited for the terrain to wipe out on muddy snow. One can hope. If not at least there will be sausages.

Metrolinx has a "bold" plan for the GTHA involving "Big Moves". At lest that's what it is selling.

Mississauga thinks that it is a yawner. And now that the province is broke, it's going to be time for broken promises, starting with running a deficit.
